Between July 7–18, 2025, PhD students Maria Ișfan and Florentina Pîslan took part in the ISAPP doctoral school entitled ‘Gravitational Wave: from theory to detection’, held at the Erwin Schrödinger International Institute for Mathematics and Physics in Vienna. More details about the summer school can be found here.

During the school, both Maria and Florentina presented a study in the poster session.

06.03.2025

Between 3rd and 5th of March, the ASPACE-Q group organized and hosted the first hands-on workshop for the LISA CU L2A working group. The workshop aimed to facilitate the exchange of information between the groups, to create the perfect context for the participants to work together on the same data sets and to plan the next steps as well as fostering collaboration between the groups.

Between 8th and 12th of July, our colleague, dr. Daniel Tonoiu, participated at the 2nd edition of International Conference on Machine Learning for Astrophysics (ML4ASTRO2) where he presented the poster “GWEEP: A Deep Learning Toolkit for Gravitational Wave Analysis”.

Between 5th and 7th of November, we attended the LISA Astrophysics Working Group meeting which was hosted by Max Plank Institute  for Astrophysics  in Garching, Germany.  During these three days, our colleague, Florentina Pislan, gave an update on the LECS (LISA Early Career Scientists) group and also showed a slide on her study “Observational Catalogue of Binary Sources and Database of Associated Gravitational Waves”.

Between 13 - 21 July 2024, our team attended the COSPAR 2024 conference held at BEXCO in Busan, Korea. During the 8 days of the conference, we delivered 4 talks in the parallel sessions and presented 2 posters.
