Between September 1–4, 2025, the 21st conference in the Recent Developments in Gravity series took place at the Ionian University in Corfu, Greece. During the conference, PhD student George Cristache presented the study ‘Emission of Gravitational Waves from a Radially Infalling Star in a Schwarzschild Black Hole using the LSZ Formalism’.

Between September 1–5, 2025, PhD student Maria Ișfan participated in the 4th European Summer School on Quantum AI, held in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy. During the poster session, Maria presented the study ‘Quantum Computing Tools for Fast Detection of Gravitational Waves in the Context of the LISA Space Mission’, and even won the award for the best poster of the school.

Between August 20–22, 2025, the third Terrestrial Very-Long-Baseline Atom Interferometry workshop took place at Leibniz University Hannover. Dr. Laurențiu Caramete attended in person, while the rest of the group participated remotely.

Between August 5–9, 2025, Dr. Laurențiu Caramete and Dr. Ana Caramete, together with PhD students Florentina Pîslan and George Cristache, participated in the Black Holes & Cosmology 2025 Conference.
During the conference, George gave an oral presentation on the study ‘Emission of Gravitational Waves from a Radially Infalling Star in a Schwarzschild Black Hole using the LSZ Formalism’, while Florentina spoke about ‘Multi-messenger Astronomy in the Gravitational Wave Era’. Both studies were carried out under the supervision of Ana Caramete and Laurențiu Caramete.

Between July 7–18, 2025, PhD students Maria Ișfan and Florentina Pîslan took part in the ISAPP doctoral school entitled ‘Gravitational Wave: from theory to detection’, held at the Erwin Schrödinger International Institute for Mathematics and Physics in Vienna. During the school, both Maria and Florentina presented a study in the poster session.
